The stand calibration period of 12 tests/18 months has been added. The requirements for the first stand at a lab to run two tests and all subsequent stands to run one test is not contained in the procedure. These requirements will be spelled out in the LTMS manual at the appropriate time. 2. There was some discussion on the last conference call regarding warm-up issues, I believe with Stages 4 and 5. No changes were forwarded to me and the procedure has not been modified on this issue. 3. The pseudo ccv figure is now Fig A4.7. All the figures are contained in the same directory as the procedure. 4. I have added wording to the oil purge, sample, and addition procedures regarding the ccv carryover oil. Please review to make sure my verbage matches actual practice. 5. My notes indicate that the engine conditions for the oil sample procedure are 600 rpm, no load, 15 minutes; and this was added to the procedure. Please verify. --->> THE GROUP INDICATED THAT THE IDLE SPEED IS NOT SPECIFIED. DRAFT 3 HAS BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT THIS. The call in number is 1-203-566-9097. Attached is a table comparing operating condition for three labs running the latest test procedure (I hope) <> This data comparison indicates to me that there is some work to be done! Further to my note of 10.14.04, Jeff Clark has indicated that the procedure will be in an updated form on the TMC web site by the time of our teleconference. It should also be noted that Stacy Bond will chair this meeting. A family emergency will place me in the role of sitting with two grandchildren on the 26th. For this reason I am asking Abdul Cassim to send the test results from the PE and SwRI tests to the above mailing list as I will be unavailable to forward the information. Best regards, Thomas M.
